At Grey Bruce Health Services, Lion's Head on Monday August 29, 2016. George Hellyer of Lion's Head in his 86th year. Beloved husband of the late Pearl (nee Bray). Cherished companion of Ruth McLay. Loved father of John and his wife Nancy and Joan and her partner Dave Freer, all of Lion's Head. Dear grandfather of Tony Dadswell (Heather), Eric Langdon (Kristen), Nathan Hellyer (Cait) and Jess Hellyer (Trevor) and great grandfather of Colton, Bailey and Emmett. Brother of Suzie McLay of Wiarton and brother-in-law of Patsy Thompson, Gladys Bray, Leona Bain and Mary Hellyer. Predeceased by son Ivor, brothers Roy and Clarence and infant sister Hazel. Friends may call at the BETHEL MISSIONARY CHURCH, Lion's Head on Thursday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted from the Church on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Interment Eastnor Cemetery.
