Obituary of Charles Ruggles Shouldice

SHOULDICE, Charles peacefully left us to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, December 26, 2016 at the Sensenbrenner Hospital in Kapuskasing at the age of 69. He enjoyed golfing, berry picking and volunteering for the Canadian Red Cross. He was a member of the Kapuskasing Baptist Church, Gideons International in Canada and the Pipefitters Union. He is survived by his wife Sylvie (Corriveau) of Kapuskasing, his daughters, Jennifer Sutherland (Todd) of New Hamburg and Sara Merwin (Joshua) of Tonawanda, NY, his step-children, Brigitte Boily (Aldo) and Nancy Lemieux of Timmins, one sister, Lois Burnett of Cobourg, his nieces and nephews, Michael Burnett, Greg Burnett and Melanie Burnett as well as six grandchildren, Kayla, Ben, Abigail, Lillian, Ellis and Caleb. He was predeceased by his parents, Jean and Percy Shouldice and his brother Larry. The graveside interment service will be held at the Eastnor Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Lion’s Head on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. A time to reminisce and share memories will follow at Christ Church Anglican, Lion’s Head.
