Rev. Edward "Chad" Honneyman

Being so far away, we never got to meet Chad in person, but loved getting to know him through his funny, loving and compassionate Facebook presence. In every photo of him, he was smiling, looking happy and surrounded by people pleased to be in his company. He clearly brought joy to those around him, and I know how much love he brought to Kim and her family. His loss is a huge one for the whole community, and my heart aches for their loss. May his light shine down on all of us and heal our hearts. Love Heather and Isabelle
The human soul is a light from God.
Lord, may it be your gracious will that the soul of Chad enjoy eternal life, along with the souls of all the Saints, and the rest of the righteous that are in paradise. Amen.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
I remember Chad as a faithful member of our Walkerton ministerial association where he was our chair person for a number of years and then as a member of the Anglican deanery of the Saugeens. Our prayers are with Kim, family, friends and parishioners in the Bruce, especially those of St. Emund's, Tobermory whom we have gotten to know fairly well through summer ministry there over the last few years. It was a shock to hear the news of his tragic death, and yet we somehow trust that even in this God works in love to bring good out of the bad. Chad has gone before us into the Lord's presence. And we who believe in the Lord will follow in our own time. Our prayers are with the family, friends and parishioners as they grieve, adjust, and yet go on with hope firmly fixed on our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

I am so sad for your family to have to face a sudden death. May your strong faith support you and God's promise of always being in our midst, let you know that He suffers with you. It is so hard to face the unexpected so my heart goes out to you and all your family who loved Chad as a person and as a minister. I hope and pray you will be comforted by Jesus' love and fellowship at this difficult time.
The Lord will let his servant rest in peace.
