One of our mom's favourite poems
Beyond The Sunset
Should you go first and I remain
To walk the road alone
I'll live in memory's garden dear
With happy days we've known
In spring I'll wait for roses red
When fade with lilac's blue
And in early fall when the brown leaves
Fall I'll catch a glimpse of you
Should you go first and I remain
For battles to be fought
Each thing you touched along the way
Will be a hallowed spot
I hear your voice, I see your
Smile though blindly I may grow
The mem'ry of your helping hand will
Buoy me on with hope
Beyond the sunset oh blissful morning when
With our Saviour heaven is begun
Earth toiling ended, oh
glorious dawning ,beyond
The sunset when day is done
Should you go first and I remain
To finish with the scroll
No lenghtenin' shadows shall creep in to
Make this life seem droll
We've known so much of happiness we've
Had our cup of joy
And mem'ry is one gift of
God that death cannot destroy
I want you to know each step you
Take that I may walk the same
For someday down that lonely road you'll
Hear me call your name
Should you go first and I remain
One thing I'll have you do
Walk slowly down that long long path
For soon I'll follow you
In that fair homeland we'll know no
Parting beyond the sunset for evermore.

Rest in peace, my dear Nan. May God hold you and Pop in His loving embrace and bring comfort to all who mourn your passing. You are both deeply loved and missed, and I will forever cherish every moment we shared, like our Sundays together at church in Ontario and the road trip from Toronto to Newfoundland with you, Aunt Inga, and her dog Eli. I’ll always cherish our time together and the memories we made on that trip. Your memory will always live on in my heart.
With love, your granddaughter,
Savanna

These are the flowers that used to bloom outside your window when you lived in Port Elgin. Now you are in Heaven Mom where the beautiful flowers will be blooming forever. I love you Mom so very much. You were the Best. Love from your daughter Hilda.

With broken hearts we send our condolences to our family in the lose of our beloved Aunt Mercedes. There has been many beautiful reunions in a far better place by now. Her faith has now become sight and the brokenness that is so often a part of this life is now a distant memory ,for all things have been made new for her and for that we rejoice. Although your hearts are broken she will live on in the love and memories that you have and will cherish forever. Wishing we could be there with you during this difficult time, please be assured of our thoughts and prayers
Love Bessie, Lorraine and Barry, Ina and Norm, Ammon and June and Family's
