Obituary of Larry McLay

McLAY, Larry James surrounded by the love of his family at Wiarton Hospital the evening of Sunday, June 8th, 2025.  Larry McLay of Hepworth and formerly of Lion's Head in his 78th year.  Beloved husband of Patricia (nee Brenneman).  Cherished father of Sandra McLay-Winters (Rick) of Francis Lake, Shawna McLay (Ray Reid) of Lion's Head and Lori Mansfield (Michael) of Georgian Bluffs.  Much loved poppa of Ryan (Des), Kylie (Mitch), Jake (Riley), Sydney (Jacob), Dani, JJ and Skylar and bonus grandfather to Ryan and Jessica.  A great grandchild will be arriving shortly.  Dear brother of Linda Schafer of Wiarton.  Predeceased by his son Christopher and parents Susie (nee Hellyer) and Dan McLay.

The funeral service will be conducted from the Bethel Missionary Church, 18 Ferndale Road, Lion's Head on Friday, June 13th at 1:00 p.m. with visitation 1 hour prior to the service.  Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, LION'S HEAD CHAPEL, Lion's Head.  Interment Eastnor Cemetery.  Expressions of remembrance to the Bruce Peninsula Hospitals Foundation would be appreciated.  Messages of condolence may be sent to the family through www.georgefuneralhome.com
