Obituary of Joyce Van Arkel

VAN ARKEL, Charlotte Joyce Ellen passed away peacefully on July 4, 2025 in her 78th year.  Beloved wife of Herb Van Arkel and cherished mother of Sara (Magnus Withey).  Sister to Jean Wilkinson, Jim Wilkinson (Karen) and Margaret Wilkinson (Eric Jones).  Predeceased by her parents Stephen and Patricia Wilkinson.  She will be fondly remembered by her extended family and friends. 

Joyce, a dedicated teacher for the Kitchener-Waterloo School Board, taught at Cameron Heights Collegiate Institute. 

A private cremation has taken place, in keeping with her wishes, and a small family gathering will be held later for her interment.  Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton.  Donations to Caledon Community Services, Boston Mills Cemetery, or a charity of your choice, in lieu of flowers, would be greatly appreciated.  Messages of condolence may be sent to the family through www.georgefuneralhome.com
