Obituary of Willis Day

  DAY, Willis Royof Southampton, and formerly of Pike Bay, passed away peacefully at his residence Southampton Care Centre on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 in his 87th year. Cherished husband of the former Alice Tight who predeceased him in 2005. Loving father of Darla Rollins (Reg Gingrich) of Paris, Rick (Cindy) Day of Wiarton and Wayne (Wanita) Day of Goderich. Special grandfather of Fran, Bub, Juice, Tamara, Ryan, Michael, Graeme, Stephan, Simon and Emily and great grandfather of Mason, Liam, Connor, Damian and Emily. He will be sadly missed by his brother-in-law Doug (Colleen) Tight and nephews Will (Arlene) Tight and Ben (Grace) Tight. Willis was predeceased by his parents Pearl (Rowley) and Clarence Day.Visitation will be held at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton on Friday, October 21, 2011 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate his life will be held in the chapel on Saturday, October 22nd at 10:00 a.m. Interment Boyd Cemetery, Shallow Lake. Donations made to the Alzheimer's Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
