Obituary of Doris Rodgers

RODGERS, Dorisof Lion's Head passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 in her 75th year. Cherished wife and best friend of Ken for 53 years. Dear mother of David (Joanne) Rodgers of Ottawa, John (Wendy) Rodgers of Lion's Head and Sylvia (Ken) Bate of Goderich. Special grandmother of Reed, Zachary, Stewart and Courtney and great grandmother of Lincoln. She will be sadly missed by her brother Joe (Melanija) Bray of Acton. Doris was predeceased by her parents Alma (Thomas) and Almer Bray and her brother Robert.In respect of Doris's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a graveside service at Eastnor Cemetery, Lion's Head on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton. Donations made to the Lion's Head United Church or Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
