Obituary of Elgin Stanley Noble

NOBLE, Stanley Elginof Wiarton passed away at Gateway Haven Nursing Home on Saturday, November 20, 2010 in his 86th year. Cherished father of Dennis (Darlene) Noble of Oshawa, Ray (Cindy) Noble of Napanee, Janet (Ron) Black of Mountain Grove, Paulette (Rob) O'Halloran of Keswick, Ron (Tracy) Noble of Oshawa and Deanna Noble of Oshawa. Loving grandfather of 13 and great grandfather of 14. He will be sadly missed by his sister Kathleen Smith of Wiarton as well as many nieces and nephews. Stanley was predeceased by his parents Sarah (Primmer) and Samuel Noble, brothers Bill, Charlie, George, Harvey and Ernie and sisters Ethel Rouse and Verna McLay.After working at GM in Oshawa for 30 years, Stanley retired to Owen Sound and then Wiarton in 1986. Many will remember his ready smile and his love of walking.Visitation will be held at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Stanley's life will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Interment Bayview Cemetery.
