Obituary of Bruce Haskins

 HASKINS, Bruce M.of Owen Sound and formerly of Lion's Head, passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Grey Bruce Regional Health Centre, Owen Sound on Friday, October 15, 2010 in his 78th year.  Bruce is survived by his wife Norma (Sutter) of almost 60 years, and his two sons Scott (Tamara) of Edmonton, Alberta and Robert (Brenda) of Bradenton, Florida.  Also survived by grandchildren Tyler, Blair, Glenys, Ryan, Sean and Jaden and great grandsons Grayson and Cole.  He will be sadly missed by his sister Edith Greig (Wallace) of Barrie, brother Ronald (Olean) of West Vancourver, B.C. and sister-in-law Joy Sutter of Wiarton.  Bruce was predeceased by his parents Margaret (Metcalfe) and Stirling Haskins, brother Allan, sister Jean, sister-in-law Shirley Haskins and brothers-in-law Elwood Tackaberry and Howard Sutter.In keeping with Bruce's wishes, cremation has taken place.  A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at the DAVIDSON CHAPEL, 71 Main Street, Lion's Head on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation 1 hour prior to the service.  Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton.  Donations made to the Owen Sound Regional Hospital would be apprecitaed by the family as expressions of sympathy.  Condolences may be sent to the family through www.georgefuneralhome.comI would like to Send Condolences Back to Notices Home | History | Services | Our Facilities | Notices | Contact Us | Links
