Obituary of Marian Thompson

  THOMPSON, Marianof Wiarton passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, October 4, 2010 at Wiarton Hospital in her 79th year.  Beloved mother of Bob (Trish) Thompson  and Ann Larock, both of St. Catherines and daughter- in-law Joyce Thompson of Tobermory.  Mamie will be sadly missed by 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, her sister Linda Forbes (Bob Hopps) and brother-in-law Alford (Ruth) Thompson, both of Wiarton and sisters-in-law Betty (Don) Hill of Westbank B.C. and Sylvia (Dennis) Miller of Oshawa.  Marian was predeceased by her husband Doug, sons Jim and Ron, and her parents Hannah (Jones) and James Brown.At Marian's request, cremation has taken place.  Family and friends are invited to a graveside service  at Colpoy's Bay Cemetery on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at 1:00 p.m..  Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton.   Donations made to the Diabetes Association, Bruce Peninsula Hospice or the Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.  Condolences may be sent to the family through www.georgefuneralhome.comI would like to Send Condolences Back to Notices Home | History | Services | Our Facilities | Notices | Contact Us | Links
