Obituary of Merle Robinson

Robinson, Merle Williamof Lions Head passed away on Monday Sept. 6, 2010, 3 days before his 76th birthday. Loving dance partner for 56 years of Ida. Children Jo-Anne Knight, Sharon (Dave) James, Diane Sweers and Glenn (Kris) Robinson were blessed to have a meaningful goodbye.Merle was a brother of June (deceased), Ivan (Lois), Laurie (wife Bernice deceased) Phil (deceased) and wife Lil. Thirteen fun loving children called him Poppa or Grampa. Merle had spent his life loving, laughing, drumming, singing, dancing and gardening. So to continue his giving ways, Merle has donated his body to the University of Western Ontario in London. The gift of goodbye was given from Merle to all who came thru the open door. Merle's wishes for donations would be to the Lions Head United Church or the Lions Head Hospital, and that we all 'Keep on Smiling'.
