Obituary of Edna Cheesman

CHEESMAN, Ednaof Wiarton passed away peacefully at Gateway Haven Nursing Home on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 in her 106th year. Cherished mother of Nelson and his wife Elaine of Port Perry. Dear grandmother of Jeffrey (Dawn) of Beaconsfield, Quebec and David (Angela) of Port Perry and great grandmother of Bradley of Port Perry. Edna was predeceased by her husband Harry, parents Sarah (Eldridge) and Charles Simmonds, brothers Charles, Alfred and Harold and sisters Pearl Walpole, Florence Coverdale, Loretta Pearson and Mabel Fowlie.Visitation will be held at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton on Friday, May 28, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Edna's life will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Morley Pinkney officiating. Interment Bayview Cemetery. Donations to the Wiarton Hospital or Friends of Gateway would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
