Obituary of Margaret Stover

STOVER, Margaret 'Peggy'of Stokes Bay passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2010 in her 86th year. Cherished mother of Jeanne Anne (John) Goldrick of London, Shirley (Jack) Burley of Espanola, Susan (Bruce) Holme of Stokes Bay and Mary Lou Krauskopf (friend Jim Sauve) of Stokes Bay. Grandma Peggy to 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her brothers Bruce Smith of Woodstock and Barry (Linda) Smith of Stokes Bay, chosen brother Eric (Leanne Shearer) Howson of Sarnia as well as many nieces and nephews. Peggy was predeceased by her husband Fred and her parents Jeanne (McKenzie) and Malcolm Smith.In respect of Peggy's wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to share memories at the DAVIDSON CHAPEL, 71 Main Street, Lion's Head on Friday, May 21, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. There will be a Royal Canadian Legion service on Friday at 6:45 p.m. The service to celebrate Peggy's life will be held at the Chapel on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Interment of ashes Stokes Bay Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton. Donations made to the Lion's Head Hospital would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
