Obituary of Bessie Wright

WRIGHT, Bessieof Wiarton passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 27, 2010 in her 88th year. Cherished mother of John (Elaine) of Wiarton and Carol Braley of Burlington. Survived by her grandchildren Ronald, Robert and Richard Braley, Leanne and Janine Wright, great grandchildren Chelsea Braley, Zion and Ananda Wright-Walters and her sister Jean Eden of Kitchener. Bessie was predeceased by her husband Ross, parents Annie McDonald and John Plant, brothers Archie, Dennis, Rueben, Murray and sister May.Bessie and her husband Ross grew up on nearby farms in the Arkwright area. After they married in 1939, they moved to the Hamilton area to raise their family and Ross worked for Westinghouse. Following Ross's death, Bessie retired to Dundas. The Wright family had many happy returns on the Bruce Peninsula at their cottage in Pike Bay and later with their grandchildren and family.A celebration of Bessie's life will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place. Interment at Hillcrest Cemetery, Tara. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton.
