Obituary of Ivan Lemcke

LEMCKE, William Ivanof Lion's Head passed away peacefully, with his family at his side, on Saturday, January 30, 2010 in his 88th year. Cherished husband of 66 years to Florence Isabelle (Greig) Lemcke. Dear father of Martin (Betty) Lemcke of Paisley and Beth (Ken) Haskins of Owen Sound. Special Grandfather of Tabetha, Chris, Tanya, Greg, Tina, Trina, Doug and Ed as well as 24 Great Grandchildren. Brother of Ab Lemcke, Isabelle (Harold) Everett, Karl (Elaine) Lemcke, Carmen (Rose) Lemcke, Morgan (Signa) Lemcke, Hazel (Jim) Hahn and Roy (Donna) Lemcke. He will be sadly missed by his sister-in-law Jean Lemcke and daughter-in-law Karen Hodgson. Ivan was predeceased by his parents Florence (Bray) and Art Lemcke, brothers Wilfred (in infancy) and Allan, son Larry and sister-in-law Wilma Lemcke.In respect of Ivan's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a graveside service at Eastnor Cemetery in the spring. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton.
