Obituary of Walden Shade

SHADE, Walden "Wally"of Wiarton and formerly of Kemble, Campbell River, B.C. and Listowel passed away at Gateway Haven Nursing Home on Sunday, December 20, 2009 in his 96th year. Beloved husband of 62 years of Nelda who predeceased him in 2003. Loving father of Stan and his wife Reta of Wiarton and Eleanor and her husband Jim Martin of Welland. Special grandfather of Deb (Rob) Schyff of Listowel, Steve (Nancy) Schade of Wiarton, Doug Martin, Janette Martin and Brenda (Carmen) Bevacqua all of Welland; great grandfather of Becky (Erv), Jeni (Mark), Braydon, Jenna, Jamie, Audrey, Logan and Marly and great great grandfather of Carson and Kaden. He will be sadly missed by his brother Neil (Ruth) Schade of Brussels. Wally was predeceased by his wife Nelda, son Allen (1993), parents Marietta (Almont) and Fred Schade, brothers Norman, Harvey and Ralph and sisters Ella Schade, Ruby Zurbrigg and Elsie Gedcke.Cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial service at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton on Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Deborah Murray officiating.
