Obituary of Murdock McArthur

McARTHUR, Murdock Ivor, WWII Veteran,of Wiarton passed peacefully at Wiarton Hospital with his family by his side on November 23, 2009 in his 90th year. Survived by son Leonard (Joanne), daughter Darlene (Lowell Knight) and Marie Horton, brother Charles McArthur of Galt and 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren. Predeceased by his wife Hilda Hayes, son Dennis and grandson Dennis McGregor. Also predeceased by sisters Mary, Myrtle, Adele and brothers Norm, Earl, Archie, Kenny and infant brother John.Visitation will be held at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton on Wednesday, November 25th from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, November 26th at 11:00 a.m. Interment Bayview Cemetery.
