Obituary of David Willson

WILLSON, David Robertof Tobermory peacefully at Lion's Head Hospital on Friday, November 20, 2009 in his 68th year. Husband of Judy and Father to Bill (Nina) of Brattleboro, Vermont and Cathy of Tobermory. Brother of Wayne (Bev) of Guelph and Ron (Angela) of London and their daughters Jackie & Michelle. David was predeceased by his parents Glenn and Merle and his beloved pal Jake. David was a retired Captain of the Oakville Fire Department. Since retiring to Tobermory he was a proud member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 290, the Tobermory Snowmobile Club and the Tobermory Health Clinic Auxiliary.There will be a Celebration of Life Service and a Royal Canadian Legion Service on Thursday, November 26, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the Tobermory Community Centre. The family will receive guests starting at 12:00 p.m. In respect of David's wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton. Donations made to the Tobermory Health Clinic Auxiliary or the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
