Obituary of Wilbert Drury

DRURY, Wilbert 'Gus'of Wiarton passed away peacefully at Wiarton Hospital on Sunday, November 1, 2009 in his 73rd year. Husband of Stella and dear brother of Laura (George) Heale of Lively, Marian Jensen of Centerville, Utah, Elizabeth Drury of Campbell River, BC, Jean Bundy of Campbell River, BC, Rosemary (Angus) Kerr of Edinburgh, Scotland and Jim (Donna) Drury of Sidney, B.C. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Wilbert was predeceased by his parents Florence and Wilbert Charles Drury.Wilbert was a long standing member of the Masonic Cedar Lodge #396, Amabel Chapter RAM #131, Offanto Preceptory #40, Owen Sound and the Bruce Shrine Club.Visitation will be held at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. There will be a masonic service at 2:00 p.m. immediately followed by the funeral service to celebrate Wilbert's life. Cremation to follow with interment in Greenfield Cemetery in Arthur. Donations made to the Shriner's Childrens Hospital would be appreciated by the family in lieu of flowers.
