Obituary of Claren Baker

BAKER, Clarenof Lion's Head and formerly of Wiarton passed away with his family by his side at Golden Dawn Nursing Home, Lion's Head on Friday, October 16, 2009 in his 96th year. Cherished father of Ruth (Dave) Munn of Kenora and Mary (Ron) Demers of Thessalon. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Jeanette (Jamie) Wisnoski, Tracy Munn (Jon Hensrud) and Andy Demers and great grandchildren Jenna, Jessica, Gracie and Shayna. Claren will be fondly remembered by his sister Verniece Baker of Wiarton. He was predeceased by his first wife Greta, second wife Julia, parents Isabella Jane (McCutcheon) and George Baker, brother Robert and sister Olive Tuffnell.Visitation will be held at the Bethel Missionary Church, 18 Ferndale Road, Lion's Head on Monday, October 19, 2009 from 12:00 noon until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Phil English officiating.
