Obituary of Dennis McFarland

 McFARLAND- Dennis "Spanky"of Lion's Head and formerly of Paris, passed away on Thursday Sept. 17, 2009 at Lion's Head Hospital, surrounded by his family. Best friend of Maureen Curry of Paris and dear father of Amy McFarland and Jessi McFarland (Tyler Keeling) both of Brantford, Julie McFarland and Teresa (Joe) Elliott, both of Paris and Katie (Jack) Keaton of Princeton. Papa's will be sadly missed by his grandchildren William and Georgia Elliott. Also survived by his sister Anne Blackwood, as well as several sisters and brothers-in-law and nieces and nephews. Dennis was predeceased by his parents Margaret (McLellan) and Andrew McFarland, and his brother Terry.Cremation has taken place. Friends will be welcomed at the Dwayne D. Budgell Funeral Home, 1105 Rest Acres Rd. Paris, Ontario, on Thursday, September 24th from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will follow in the Chapel at 7:00 p.m. Memorial donations made to Thameswood Lodge would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
