Obituary of Doug Lundy

LUNDY, Bryan Douglas 'Doug'suddenly at his residence in Lion's Head on Thursday, July 9th, 2009 in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Grace and dear father of Cindy (Jim) Bradshaw of Peterborough, Connie (John) Bain of Pike Bay, Jenny (Kevin) Moore of Lion's Head, Terry (Rick) May of Keswick and Steven McLaughlin of Toronto. Loving son of Edith Reese and brother of Rosemary Wilkinson and Enid McDonald, all of Milton and Clive Reese of Port Elgin. He will be sadly missed by his 13 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews as well as his faithful friend 'Buddy'. Doug was predeceased by his father Roy Reese, wife Helen, son Wayne and daughter Gail. Doug retired after 44 years of faithful employment with Electro Sonic in Toronto. He will be remembered as a volunteer pianist at the Golden Dawn Nursing Home.Visitation will be held at the DAVIDSON CHAPEL, 71 Main Street, Lion's Head on Monday, July 13, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton. Donations made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
