Obituary of Ethel Greig

GREIG, Ethelof Lion's Head passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 in her 82nd year. Cherished wife of John for 62 years. Dear mother of Sharon (Bill) Edgar of Lion's Head, Sandy Greig (Trevor Guest) of Ottawa and Cindy (Tony) Da Silva of Pickering. Special grandmother of Carrie, Kiley, Jennifer, Katie and Cayla. She will be sadly missed by her sister Cathy Self of Fergus and brother-in-law Wallace (Edith) Greig of Barrie as well as many nieces and nephews. Ethel was predeceased by her daughter Pamela, parents Jessie (Duff) and Harry MacKay, brothers John, Robert and George and sisters Annabelle, Jessie, Jean, Christena, Reta, Barb, Alexis and Margaret and sister-in-law Willa Schmitthausler.Visitation will be held at the DAVIDSON CHAPEL, 71 Main Street, Lion's Head on Friday, July 10th, 2009 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The graveside funeral service to celebrate Ethel's life will be held at Eastnor Cemetery, Lion's Head on Saturday, July 11th, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Heather Davies officiating. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton. Donations made to the Lion's Head Hospital would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
