Obituary of Janie Strangway

STRANGWAY, Mary Jane 'Janie'of Seaforth and Dyers Bay passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends at her summer home in Dyers Bay on Saturday, July 4, 2009 in her 58th year. Cherished mother of Laura and Robyn, both of Wiarton, dear daughter of Annie Bartley of Dyers Bay, sister of Allan Bartley (Lorie Root) of Ottawa and Lee Bartley (John Crossley) of Fredericton, N.B., sister-in-law of Diane (Doug) McLellan of Mount Forest and Donna (Glen) Dougan of Markham and aunt of Heather, Erin, Michael, Robert, Isabelle and Madaleine. Janie was predeceased by her husband John and father Elmer Bartley.Family and friends are invited to share their memories at the DAVIDSON CHAPEL, 71 Main Street, Lion's Head on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Janie's life will be held at St. Margaret's Anglican Church, Cape Chin on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Brad Mittleholtz officiating. Interment Stokes Bay Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton.
