Obituary of Harold Wilkinson

WILKINSON, HAROLDpassed away at the Wiarton Hospital, with his family by his side, on Thursday May 28, 2009 in his 76 year. Beloved father of Kim (Terry) Moore of Blenheim, Wendy McEown of St. Thomas, Scott (Qing Ye) of Massachusetts and Susan (Trevor) Preece of Brigden. Special grandfather of 13 and great grandfather of 4. Also survived by his brother Glen (Lorraine) of Sauble Beach, mother in law Dorie Sequin, sister in law Joanne Petrie and his special friend Pat Rush, all of Wiarton, as well as many nieces and nephews. Harold was predeceased by his wife Marilyn, parents Lila (Fox) and Albert Wilkinson, brothers Jack and Wilfred and sister Edna Stead.Family and friends are invited to share their memories at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton on Sunday May 31, 2009 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. There will be a Legion Service at 6:45 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Harold's life will be held in the Chapel on Monday June 1, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Interment of cremated remains in Colpoy's Bay Cemetery. Donations made to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #208 or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family as expression of sympathy.
