Obituary of Elmer Lynch

LYNCH, Elmerof Lion's Head passed away surrounded by his family on Thursday, May 21, 2009 in his 96th year. Cherished husband and best friend of Gladys for 67 years. Beloved father of Darlene and her husband Mac Carson of Owen Sound and Sharon and her husband Tom Otterbein of Kitchener. Special grandpa to Mark, Brian, Brad, Steve and Joanne and great grandchildren Jake, Zoe, Brianne, Tyler, Julia, Owen, Mitchell, Madison, Carter and Brooklynn. He will be sadly missed by his sister Etta (George) Lederman of Sarnia as well as many nieces and nephews. Elmer was predeceased by his parents Hester (Wardrope) and William Lynch, brothers Ed, John, Russell and Lawrence and sisters Annie Bartley, Lena Nicholson, Louisa Ceaser and Lottie Rapp.Family and friends are invited to share their memories at the DAVIDSON CHAPEL, 71 Main Street, Lion's Head on Sunday, May 24, 2009 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Elmer's life will be held at BETHEL MISSIONARY CHURCH, 18 Ferndale Road, Lion's Head on Monday, May 25, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Chris Mirrlees officiating. Interment Eastnor Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton. Donations made to Golden Dawn Nursing Home or the Lion's Head Hospital would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
