Obituary of Jean Tackaberry

TACKABERRY, Jeanof Lion's Head passed away at Golden Dawn Nursing Home on Monday, May 18, 2009 in her 83rd year. Cherished mother of Larry and his wife Virginia of Owen Sound. Special grandmother of Melissa, Melanie, Ryan, Jonathan, Andrew and Vijaenzo and great grandmother of Alexander, Jacob, Jessica and Aryanne. Jean will be sadly missed by her brothers Bruce (Norma) Haskins of Owen Sound and Ron (Olean) Haskins of Vancouver, B.C. and her sister Edith (Wally) Greig of Barrie. She was predeceased by her husband Elwood (1996), parents Margaret (Metcalfe) and Sterling Haskins, brother Allan Haskins and sister-in-law Shirley Haskins.Family and friends are invited to visitation at the DAVIDSON CHAPEL, 71 Main Street, Lion's Head on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. There will be a private family service at a later time. Interment Eastnor Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton. Donations made to the Lion's Head Hospital or Golden Dawn Nursing Home would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
