Obituary of Faye West

WEST, Fayeof Lion's Head passed away peacefully at Golden Dawn Nursing Home on Thursday, April 2, 2009 in her 84th year. Cherished mother of David (Natalie) of Barrie, Kim of Lion's Head and Kevin (Jane) of Lion's Head. Special grandmother of 6 and great grandmother of 1. She will be sadly missed by her brothers Duncan (Mary Dale) Hewton of Stokes Bay, George (Gail) Hewton of Bramalea, sisters Ruth Heath of Dartmouth, N.S. and Frances (Al) Terry of Beaverton, aunts Marjorie Graham of Owen Sound and Sadie Saunders of Fergus and daughter-in-law Patti West of Lion's Head as well as many nieces and nephews. Faye was precedeased by her husband Mac, parents Julia (Graham) and Albert Hewton, brother Graham, infant brother Ian and infant sister Joyce.Family and friends are invited to share their memories at the DAVIDSON CHAPEL, 71 Main Street, Lion's Head on Saturday, April 4, 2009 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Faye's life will be at the Chapel on Sunday, April 5, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Ed Laksmanis officiating. Spring interment Eastnor Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton.
