Obituary of Orville Tuffnell

TUFFNELL, Orvilleof Wiarton passed away at Wiarton Hospital on Saturday, March 21, 2009 in his 83rd year. Cherished husband and best friend of Emily for 52 years. Beloved father of Henry of Wiarton, Ross (Sandy) of Wiarton, Ruth (Wayne) Woods of Bognor and Dorothy (Doug) Hardman of Kitchener. Special grandfather of 5 and great grandfather of 4. He will be sadly missed by his brothers-in-law Norman (Ruth) Deakins of Wiarton and Jim (Viney) Deakins of Kemble and sister-in-law Isabel Deakins of Wiarton. Orville was predeceased by his parents Hilda (McGarvey) and Harry Tuffnell, son Norman, brothers Stewart and Glenn and sister Joyce Moore.Family and friends are invited to share their memories at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton on Monday, March 23, 2009 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Orville's life will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. George Bell officiating. Spring interment Colpoy's Bay Cemetery.
