Obituary of Elsie Rose

ROSE, Elsieof Barrie and formerly of Wiarton passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie on Monday, December 8, 2008 in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late Lawrence Angus 'Larry' Rose who predeceased her in 2002. Cherished mother of Sandra Eshleman and her husband Phil of Drayton Valley, Alberta, Susan Gervais and her husband Rolly of Barrie and Steve and his wife Georgia of Kingston. Special grandmother of Mark (Leanne) Eshleman, Paul (Arlene) Eshleman, Tim (Michelle) Eshleman, Phillip Eshleman, Carolyn Gervais, Natasha (Scott) Pugsley, Trent Rose and Keaton Rose and great grandmother of Levi, Sage, Hannah, Madison, Caleb and Marty Eshleman and Ethan and Grace Pugsley. Sadly missed by her brother Wally (Earlma) Vines of Port Elgin and sister Jean (Jack) MacDonald of Kincardine as well as sisters-in-law Frances Rose and Hazel Herbert. Elsie was predeceased by her parents Jenny (Wright) and Edward Vines, brothers Harry and Frank and sisters Margaret Davey, Maretta Fitzgerald, Florence Blackwell and Frances Wright.The family will receive friends at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, 430 Mary Street, Wiarton on Thursday, December 11th from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Elsie's life will be conducted from the funeral home on Friday, December 12th at 2:00 p.m. Spring interment Bayview Cemetery, Wiarton. Donations to the C.N.I.B., Wiarton Hospital or the Royal Victoria Hospital Barrie would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
