Obituary of Donalda McArthur

McARTHUR, Donalda 'Nean'of Stokes Bay passed away at Lion's Head Hospital on Tuesday, November 25, 2008 in her 80th year. Cherished mother of Bonnie (Ken) Kelly of Stokes Bay, Wanda (Al) Thibodeau of Wiarton, Donald McArthur of Stokes Bay, Kevin (Wendy) McArthur of Woodstock, Melinda (Joe) Spaulding of Stokes Bay and Ernie (Christine) McArthur of Stokes Bay. Special grandma of Lannie (Marshall) Tigert, Jodi Kelly, Chantel Shervill, Keith, Chelsea and Logan Thibodeau, Hawk McArthur, KC and Clayton McArthur, Melina-Jo, Kristan and Brady Spaulding and Sydney and Gavin McArthur and grandma great to Kailey, Kendra, Emily and Hailey. She will be sadly missed by sisters Betty (Bill) Weatherhead, Norma (Orville) Stewart and Marydale (Duncan) Hewton, sister-in-law Dorothy Hawke and brothers-in-law Charlie McArthur and Murdock McArthur as well as many nieces and nephews. Nean was predeceased by her husband Earl (1988), parents Bella (McLay) and Garnet Hawke, brothers Cliff and Joe, a son and daughter in infancy, one grandson and one granddaughter.Family and friends are invited to share their memories at the DAVIDSON CHAPEL, 71 Main Street, Lion's Head on Friday, November 28th, 2008 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. There will be a memorial service to celebrate Nean's life on Saturday, November 29th at 11:00 a.m. at the Knox Presbyterian Church, Stokes Bay. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Lion's Head Hospital would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
