Obituary of Christina Smith

SMITH, Christinaof Lucan, and formerly of Wiarton, passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, August 27th, 2008 in her 84th year. Cherished mother of Grace (Maurice) McInnis of Markdale, Russell (Darlene) of Owen Sound, Barbara Vergyris of Toronto, Sheron (Dan) Minard of Kitchener, Roger, Ivan (Kathy), Andrew (Bonnie) and Lukus (Laura) all of Strathroy, and Cecil (Margaret) and Janett (Chris) Knowles both of Stratford. She will be sadly missed by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters Margaret Henry and Laura Hannah, brother Norman McEachern as well as many nieces and nephews. Christina was predeceased by her husband Russell, parents Minnie (Wilcox) and Roger McEachern, 4 sisters, 4 brothers, 2 brothers-in-law and 1 son-in-law.Visitation will be held at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton, on Friday, August 29, 2008 from 12:00 o'clock until the time of the funeral service to celebrate Christina's life at 2:00 p.m. Interment Bayview Cemetery. Donations made to the South Huron Hospital (Exeter) Palliative Care Program would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
