Obituary of Veronica Johnston

JOHNSTON, Veronica Vernaof Cape Croker First Nations passed away peacefully at Wiarton Hospital on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 in her 51st year. Beloved daughter of Stella and Gordon Johnston. Loving mother to daughters Larissa, Harmony and Amy Johnston and son Noka Ryan. Special grandmother to Kendall and Teagon. Sister of Owen Johnston, Karen McClain, Judi Roy, Daphne Johnston, Marlene Keeshig, Lana Landon, Marsha Smith and Merceline Doran. She will also be sadly missed by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Veronica was predeceased by her brothers Bradley and Gordon Jr. and sister Elizabeth.Visitation will be held at the Maadookii Centre on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, July 24, 2008 from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church. Her Uncles Deacon Ron Johnston and Deacon Peter Johnston officiating. Interment Little Port Elgin Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton.
