Obituary of Roderick Cowen

COWEN, Roderick Dale 'Rod'of RR #2, Wiarton, and formerly of Stratford, passed away suddenly as a result of a motor vehicle accident on Thursday, May 29th, 2008 in his 48th year. Cherished son of Mervyn and Elizabeth "Betty" Cowen of RR #2, Wiarton and dear brother of Jason (Terri Lynn) Cowen of RR #2, Wiarton, Suzanne (Grant) Cameron of Owen Sound and Debbie (Perry) Brydges of Woodstock. He will be sadly missed by his wife Danette, son Evan (Whitney), daughter Vanessa and grandchildren Ellis, Zoey, Colton and Brody, all of Stratford as well as many Aunts, Uncles, nieces and nephews.Friends and family are invited to share their memories at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton on Sunday, June 1, 2008 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Rod's life will be held at the funeral home on Monday, June 2, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Joel Gorley officiating.
