Obituary of Marie Richmond

RICHMOND, Marieof Lion's Head passed away peacefully at Golden Dawn Nursing Home on Monday, April 28, 2008 in her 90th year. Cherished mother of Herbert (Dolores) Richmond of St. Mary's, Dieann (Murray) Stephenson of Pike Bay and Rose Marie (David) Waller of New Hamburg. Special grandmother to Bill, Mark, Suzanne, Michael, Chad, David Jr., Troy, Shaunna and Chris and 20 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by brother Reginald and sisters Elenor, Geraldine, Evelyn, Clarice and Marguerite. Marie was predeceased by her husband Gordon, parents Marguerite (Rose) and George Rabideau, 5 brothers and 3 sisters.Family and friends are invited to share their memories on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at the DAVIDSON CHAPEL, 71 Main Street, Lion's Head from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Marie's life will be held at the chapel on Thursday, May 1, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Billy Strachan officiating. Interment Eastnor Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Alzheimer's Society or Golden Dawn Nursing Home would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
