Obituary of Maud Hannah Brown

BROWN, Hannah Maudof Wiarton passed away peacefully on Friday, April 25, 2008 in her 99th year. Cherished mother of Marian Thompson and Linda Forbes (Bob Hopps), both of Wiarton. Special grandmother of Bob (Trish) Thompson, Ann Larock, Margaret (Pat) Kelly and Tony (Dawn) Forbes. Fondly remembered by grand daughter-in-law Joyce Thompson. She will be sadly missed by 10 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren, her brother Robert Jones of Port Elgin and many nieces and nephews. Hannah was predeceased by her husband Jim (1995), sons-in-law Douglas Thompson and Terry Forbes, grandsons Jim and Ron Thompson, her parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.In respect of Hannah's wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton on Saturday, May 3, 2008 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. There will be a Rebekah Lodge Service at 2:00 p.m. with the memorial service to celebrate Hannah's life immediately following. Interment Colpoy's Bay Cemetery. Donations made to the Diabetes Association or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
