Obituary of Carroll Leard

LEARD, Carrollof Lion's Head passed away suddenly on Wednesday, April 16, 2008 in his 83rd year. Cherished father of June Leard (Norm Holman) of Lion's Head and special grandfather of Melissa (Shawn) Gill and Joseph Jarvis (Denice Smith) and great grandfather of Hailey and Shawn Gill all of Lion's Head. He will be sadly missed by his brothers Ivan (Marjorie) Leard of Victoria West, P.E.I. and John (Marg) Leard of Brampton. Carroll was predeceased by his wife Elmira, grandson Adam Jarvis, parents Margaret (Reeves) and Lloyd Leard, four brothers and one sister.Family and friends are invited to share their memories at the DAVIDSON CHAPEL, 71 Main Street, Lion's Head on Friday, April 18, 2008 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday, April 19th from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Robert Mansfield officiating. Cremation to follow. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton.
