Obituary of Shirley Bartley

BARTLEY, Shirleyof Lion's Head passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 22, 2008 in her 76th year. Beloved wife of the late Ken Bartley (1996). Cherished sister of Helen (Bob) Duke, Eileen Tackaberry and Ruth Tackaberry, all of Lion's Head, Fern Hogan of Cambridge and Norma Jean (Ron) Pineau of Waterloo. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, sister-in-law Lenora Caudle of Lion's Head, brother-in-law Murray Hellyer of Lion's Head as well as many brothers and sisters-in-law on her husband Ken's side. Shirley was predeceased by her parents Thelma (Whenham) and George Caudle, brothers Carmen and Fred and sisters Marguerite Hellyer and Betty Lou Caudle.Visitation will be held at the DAVIDSON CHAPEL, 71 Main Street, Lion's Head on Thursday, January 24, 2008 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Shirley's life will be held at the Chapel on Friday, January 25, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Billy Strachan officiating. Spring interment Eastnor Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton.
