Obituary of Earl Skene

SKENE, Albert Earlof Wiarton passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 19, 2007 in his 94th year. Cherished father of Nancy (Ed) Given of Kingston and dear grandfather of Greg, Wendy (John), Todd (Brenda) Tim (Pam), Pat (Dawn), Jyneen (Dan) and Sheryl (Marco). He will be sadly missed by sisters Marjorie Smith, Helen (Bob) Porter and Fairy (Gord) Buchanan all of Wiarton. Earl was predeceased by his wife Rose, son Don, parents Lydia (Hepburn) and Albert Skene, brothers Ewart, Morgan, Bud and Bill and sisters Pearl Walpole, Gladys MacDonald, Beatrice Twigger, June Heath and May Dennis and special friend Gord Smith.There will be no funeral home visitation or service at this time. A celebration of Earl's life will be announced at a later date. Spring interment Bayview Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton. Donations made to the Presbyterian Church, Friends of Gateway Haven or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
