Obituary of Dave Neisen

NEISEN, Dave (Bimby)God walked Dave peacefully from this beautiful landscape in Grey-Bruce that he loved so much to heaven on Saturday, November 17, 2007 in his 63rd year. Dearly missed by his wife and best friend Marion (Marigold) Neisen, his son John Neisen and his partner Telly and his daughter Tiffany Newmaster and her husband Brian who were all so special to him. Grandpa and Papa will be forever remembered and loved by his grandchildren Taylor and Brooklyn and his little 'buddy' Pierce. Dave also leaves behind brothers Mike, Bernie and Chuck and sisters Nancy, Vicky and Marilyn. His brother Mike will especially miss all of the times he shared with Bimby. Dave was the favourite son-in-law of Dorothy Van Oene. Daisy Chain will also be dearly remembered by his brothers and sisters-in-law Cliff and Cheryl Van Oene and Murray and Linda Van Oene. His nieces Wendy, Holly and Ashley and his nephew Shayne will miss their Uncle Dave very much. Dave was predeceased by his Dad and Mom, Ab and Florence (Flossie) Neisen of Mildmay.A Memorial Service to celebrate Dave's life will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church, Gould Street, Wiarton on Saturday, November 24, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Steve Lacroix officiating. Following the service, a time for family and friends to gather and share their memories will be held at the Waterview on the Bay Resort, 501205 Grey Road 1, Wiarton. In respect of Dave's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation prior to the service. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton. As expressions of sympathy, donations made to the Oncology Department at Owen Sound Hospital or the Bruce Peninsula Sportsmen Association would be appreciated by the family.
