Obituary of Neil Oke

OKE, Neilof Pike Bay passed away on Friday, August 24, 2007 in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Donna for 56 years and cherished Uncle to Warren (Karrie) Oke of Sarnia, Stuart (Karen) Eedy of Denfield and Donna Marie Shipp of Fort Erie. Neil will be sadly missed by his Honourary Grandchildren Leslie and Lindsay Oke. He is also survived by his great niece and nephew Kaitlyn & Kyle Eedy, brother George (Norma) Oke of Petrolia, sister Doreen (Charlie) Eedy of Denfield, sister-in-law Marjorie Atkin of Sarnia as well as several nieces and nephews and his close friends Linda & Ross White.Visitation will be held a the DAVIDSON CHAPEL, 71 Main Street, Lion's Head on Sunday, August 26, 2007 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Neil's life will be held at the Chapel on Monday, August 27, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Susan Shantz officiating. Interment at Oil Springs Cemetery on Tuesday, August 28th at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton.
