Obituary of Leonard Dobson

DOBSON, Leonardof RR 1, Hepworth passed away peacefully at his residence with his dear friend Katie Gerber at his side on Wednesday, June 27, 2007 in his 91st year. He will be sadly missed by his sisters Ruth Corbet of Wiarton and Carol Marks of British Columbia as well as several nieces and nephews. Leonard was predeceased by his parents Adella (Mathews) and Bert Dobson, sister Jeanne, brother Doran, sister-in-law Jean and nephew Gary.Leonard was a lifetime resident of Wiarton. After serving his country in W.W. II in Italy, he returned to Wiarton and opened an upholstry shop, which he continued to run until the mid 1990's.Visitation will be held at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton on Friday, June 29, 2007 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Leonard's life will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, June 30, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Bayview Cemetery. Donations made to the Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
