Obituary of Fred Forbes

FORBES, Frederick 'Fred'of Stokes Bay passed away peacefully at his residence with family by his side on Monday, April 9, 2007 in his 67th year. Cherished father of Terri (Bruce) McClymont of Prince George, British Columbia and Tom and John, both of London. Special grandfather of Megan and Madison McClymont. He will be sadly missed by his partner and best friend Jean Shearer, his brothers Eugene (Ruby) Forbes of Walkerton, Harvey (Pat) Forbes of Wiarton, Larry (Carol) Forbes of Wiarton and sisters Lorraine (Dr. Alan) Morris of Wiarton, Doris Dewar of Brantford, Norma (Dr. Michael) Mackenzie of Bramption as well as many nieces and nephews. Fred was predeceased by his wife Anna in 1996, his sister Constance in infancy and his parents Vera (Hayes) and Selby Forbes.Friends and family are invited to gather at the Davidson Chapel, 71 Main Street, Lions Head on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. There will be a graveside service on Saturday, April 14, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at Eastnor Cemetery with Rev. Jawn Kolohon officiating. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton.
