Obituary of Murray Bain
BAIN, Murrayof Wiarton, and formerly of Lions Head, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2007 in his 84th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Leona for 60 years. Cherished father of Barbara Ann (Bill) McNair of Miller Lake, Scott (Dianne) Bain of Tobermory, Gail (Steve) Fraser of Edgar, Brenda Hynes of Stratford and Heather (Rick) Guse of Shallow Lake. He will be sadly missed by 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and brothers and sisters-in-law Cliff (Leora) Blacklock of Lions Head, George Hellyer of Lions Head, Irene Bain of Chesley, Evelyn (Mel) McCutcheon of Wiarton, Edith Bray of Lions Head and Gladys Bray of Wiarton. Murray was predeceased by his parents Nellie (Greig) and Frank Bain, 2 brothers and 1 sister.Murray was a WWII veteran having joined the Air Force at 18 and served as ground crew working on Lancaster airplanes with Air Squadron #427 in England.Friends may call at the Bethel Missionary Church, 18 Ferndale Road, Lions Head on Friday, January 12, 2007 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Murray's life will be held at the Bethel Missionary Church on Saturday, January 13, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Charles Gingerich officiating.
