Obituary of Jean L. Deakins

DEAKINS, L. Jeanof Toronto passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Health Centre, Toronto on Thursday, November 2nd, 2006 in her 87th year. Cherished and loving wife of Robert (Bob) Deakins of Toronto and dear sister of Florence Cheyne of Ottawa. Jean is lovingly remembered as a favourite Aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Arla May (Norrish) and Gilbert Ward, brothers Gordon, Elmer, Edgar, Roy and Keith Ward and sisters Vera Parsons and Edna Lennox.Jean was a retired, long-time employee of Canada Life Insurance Company.The family will receive friends at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton on Sunday, November 5th, 2006 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
