Obituary of Eileen Collier

COLLIER, EILEENof Wiarton passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 29th, 2006 in her 82nd year. Beloved companion and best friend of Sidney Brechin for 28 years. Cherished mother of Russell Collier of Toronto and Ian (Cathy) Collier of Oakville and grandma of Christine Tonkens and Michael and Nicole Collier. She will be sadly missed by her step-sons Sidney Brechin of Dunnville, George Brechin of Owen Sound, Rodney Brechin of Dunnville and Roger Brechin of Whitby, 5 step-grandchildren and her brother Gerry (Mary) McIntosh of Oakville. She was a special Aunt to Stephen (Debbie), Susan (Steve), Beverly (Mike), Kim (Mike) and Glen and Great-Aunt of Lisa (Bart), Gillian (Graham), Andrew, Katie, Kerry, Kelly, Paul, Jenny and Luke. Eileen was predeceased by her husband Ronald, her parents Ethel (Fitzgerald) and Harry McIntosh and her brother Lionel McIntosh.Eileen was a special person who loved laughter, dancing, family and friends. She taught us well and will be cherished in our hearts forever.Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Eileen's life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Wiarton on Friday, November 3, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton. As expressions of sympathy, donations made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the School of Anatomy at the University of Waterloo would be appreciated by the family.
