Obituary of Aleta Meneray

MENERAY, Aletaof Lions Head, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 25, 2006 in her 93rd year. Beloved mother of Karen (Keith) Meyer of Lions Head. Cherished grandmother of Candice (Richard) Blacklock of St. Mary's, Holly (Bill) Morrow of Wiarton, Tammy McGee of Whitby, Terrie (Stuart) Cirne of Kingston and Matthew McGee of Brockville and great-grandmother of 8. She will be sadly missed by son-in-law Ainsley McGee of Lyn and her sister Delores Smith of Mississauga. Aleta was predeceased by her husband Graham in 1975, her parents Mabel (Ackerman) and Allen McLay, daughter Mary Louise McGee and sister Irene Smith.The family will receive friends at the Davidson Chapel, 71 Main Street, Lions Head on Sunday, August 27th, 2006 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Aleta's life will be held at the Central United Church, Lions Head on Monday, August 28th at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Audrey Brown officiating. Interment Eastnor Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton.
