Obituary of Gordon West

WEST, Gordonpassed away peacefully on Sunday, August 13th, 2006 in his 81st year. Dear father of Ron and his wife Linda of Wiarton and Nancy and her husband Bob Rushton of Lucan. Cherished grandfather of Letitia, Tom, Katelin, Jamie, Kelsey, Matthew and Hayley. Gordon is survived by his brother Larry (Donna) of Hepworth, his sisters Wilda (Ellis) Hannah of Hamilton, Maybelle (George) Rudd of Wiarton and Sharon Wright (Harold Albright) of Williamsford and sister-in-law Norma (Alfredo) Arnone of Woodbridge as well as many nieces and nephews. Gordon was predeceased by his wife Gwen in 2004, his parents Mary Ann (Rouse) and Edward West, brothers Angus, Doug and Syl and sisters Geraldine and Nellie.The family will receive friends at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, 430 Mary Street, Wiarton on Saturday, August 19th from 12:00 noon until time of the service to celebrate Gordon's life at 2:00 p.m. Interment of cremated remains in Bayview Cemetery, Wiarton.
