Obituary of Gordon Andrew Hepburn

HEPBURN, Andrew Gordon (Babe)of Wiarton passed away peacefully on Monday, August 14th, 2006 in his 81st year. Beloved father of Ken (Dawn) of Port Elgin, Carman (Merrie) of Brampton and Rosemary of Owen Sound. Cherished grandfather of Kyle (Nicole) Hepburn of Oakville, Jennifer Hepburn of Kitchener, Leah (Rob) McArthur of Brampton and Scott Hepburn of Toronto and great-grandfather of Connor and Zachary McArthur of Brampton. He will be missed by his brothers Lorne of Wiarton, Howard (Maisie) of Hepworth and sister Nora Fenner of Wiarton. He was predeceased by his wife Marie (Gray) in 1996, his parents Minnie (Pruder) and Andrew Hepburn, brother Herb and his wife Winnifred, sister-in-law Ioleen Hepburn and brother-in-law Ron Fenner.Babe was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Wiarton Branch 208, Lions Club and was very active in minor softball for many years.The family will receive friends at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, on Thursday, August 17, 2006 from 12:00 noon until time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. David Leggatt officiating. Cremation to follow with interment of ashes in Colpoy's Bay Cemetery at a later date.
